Sir.-I am delighted to report that the magnificent sum of £841.28 was raised at a collection in Festival Place, Basingstoke, during Parkinson's Awareness Week.
I would like to thank the shoppers for their generosity and the collectors for their time.
The funds will go towards providing services for local people with Parkinson's disease, and their carers.
These include our monthly support meetings, outings, etc, and also the services of a part-time paid community support worker.
