TWO sucessful and popular local league tennis players, Julian Lance and Rhys Roberts, were remembered in an annual charity tennis tournament held in their memory at Hampshire Centrecourt.
The event, organised by Sue Lance and Alison Pilcher, was well attended, with 40 people playing in a mixed doubles format and many others attending the prize-giving dinner afterwards.
Jim Webb and Lesley Miotto were the cup-winners, after a close-fought final with John Lance and Sue Roper.
The event raised £1,300 for St Michael's Hospice and Diabetes UK.
