A DUCK race is being held on the River Meon to raise money for Wickham Primary School. But these will not be any ordinary ducks, they will be a flotilla of 1,000 brightly coloured plastic ducks competing for glory.
The Friends of Wickham Primary School are hosting the event in order to raise cash for the school's new adventure playground.
And in addition to the race they will also be holding a number of other "duck-related" events throughout the afternoon.
The duck race gets underway from Bridge Street at 12pm on Sunday, June 11.
