FOOD glorious food - that was what a group of Hedge End Brownies were looking forward to as they packed their rucksacks for a half-term camp.
But those sunshine smiles have faded when all their camp grub was lost because of a freezer breakdown.
The 19 girls and five helpers from the 3rd Hedge End Brownies set off this Friday for the week's camp in the New Forest. Brownie helper Bridget Denney said: "Because we all work it is very difficult to go out and replace it now."
Now they are hoping that a Good Samaritan might step forward and help replace the goodies, which cost a total of £75 and include chicken dippers, roast turkey rolls, vegetables and chips.
