A WINCHESTER pub is staging a fundraising disco for eight-year-old Joe Glover, who is battling a rare form of cancer.
Joe, pictured, of Piping Green, Colden Common, has a one in 80 million form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
His parents, Paul and Maxine, are fundraising with a view to seeking treatment in the United States.
As reported in the Daily Echo earlier this month, the Glovers are using the Internet to find out as much about the disease as they can.
The event will be at the Rising Sun on Magdalen Hill on Monday, May 29, from 7pm to 11.30pm.
