SHOPLIFTERS, ignorant drivers and lost shoppers - it's all in seven days' work for the tough twosome better known as Andover town centre's beat bobbies.
The shopping centre's pavement pounding patrol has now been stepped up to provide whole-week coverage with the appointment of new beat officer WPc Mandy Lockey.
This means that shoppers and visitors to the town won't be far from the long arm of the law seven days of the week between 8am and 8pm.
