A SPONSORSHIP plea to Andover businesses for this year's carnival has raised just £480 so far, and four tyres to be used as a raffle prize.
Lions Club Carnival organiser John Whalley, said more than 100 letters were sent out asking for help.
"This is, to say the least, very disappointing," he said.
