THE Bishop of Southampton is to open a new building at Netley Marsh C of E Infant School in Woodlands next month.
The Rt Rev Paul Butler will visit the 70-pupil school in Ringwood Road, Woodlands, and officially open the new facility, which includes a sports hall, on June 14.
Together staff and children are now preparing to landscape the outside areas.
Head teacher Laura Dickson said: "This is a very exciting time for the school.
"The children are thoroughly enjoying the new building and are looking forward to designing the outside areas."
Everyone is welcome to attend the official opening and the school's summer fayre at 2.30pm.
