A MANIAC is putting road-users' lives in danger in the Romsey area.
Police say that for the past fortnight someone has been deliberately loosening wheelnuts on vehicles parked on an industrial estate near Timsbury.
Police spokesman, Alan Smith, said that a tachograph had also been stolen from one of vehicles at the Yokesford Hill Industrial Estate.
All the vehicles targeted belong to one company but the police are not releasing the firm's name. Mr Smith said the culprit was "totally irresponsible."
"It has the potential to endanger the driver's life and innocent motorists and the public. If anyone has information about this we would like to hear from them," said Mr Smith.
Anyone with information is asked to call Romsey police on 0845 0454545.
