THE SACHS Madass 125, pictured left, arrives in the UK next month.
Designed and manufactured by Sachs of Germany, the Madass 125 shares the minimalist philosophy of the original 50cc model.
Fuel is carried in the frame so no bulky fuel tank, and the twin seat sits on a single tube running from the bike's spine- so no rear sub frame either. The result is an incredibly light machine, weighing in at just 95kg.
Power is provided by a four-stroke single engine with stopping delivered by a 260mm front disc brake and 215mm rear also at the rear is a mono-shock absorber with hydraulic damping and adjustable pre-load.
Twin stacked headlights provide plenty of illumination and add to the overall unique style.
The Madass is available in yellow at £1,499 on the road with the option of competitive insurance.
