SOUTHAMPTON R&B star Craig David has been included in the Paris line-up at next month's Live 8 music concert.
Craig, pictured, whose new album The Story Goes is out in August, joins Jamiroquai, Placebo, Youssou N'Dour and Andrea Bocelli at the French leg of the massive music event, which aims to draw greater attention to world poverty, particularly in Africa.
The main Live 8 concert is being staged at London's Hyde Park on July 2, nearly 20 years to the day organiser Bob Geldof staged the first Live Aid event at Wembley when Craig would have been just four years old.
Live 8 concerts are also being staged that day in Rome, Berlin, Philadelphia and Paris.
On Sunday, Craig performed his second gig at Power in the Park at Southampton Common in front of a packed crowd. It was his first gig in his home city in nearly two years.
