A FOOTBALL club will have to wait for a council decision on its new stand.
At a meeting of Fareham Borough Council's planning development committee it was decided to defer the matter of Locks Heath Football Club's new stand until a site visit can be carried out.
It comes after more than 100 people complained about plans for improvements to the Locks Heath Recreation Ground in Warsash Road.
The improvements include installing a seated shelter for up to 161 people, a standing shelter and two new team shelters on the edge of the pitch.
The application to the council comes after the team was promoted to the Sydenhams Wessex League.
