MOTORISTS will be given a helping hand with their routine vehicle checks when television's Vicki Butler-Henderson drives in to Hedge End.
The popular presenter of Fifth Gear will be joining patrol crews from the AA, who will be performing free essential maintenance checks to show drivers how to keep their cars roadworthy.
Vicki, pictured, will join the patrols at the B&Q car park in Charles Watts Way, Hedge End this Friday and Saturday.
Steve Dewey, AA road services operations director, says, "We would rather meet drivers at 2pm in B&Q's car park than at 2am on the hard shoulder of a motorway."
Vicki said: "The car clinics are a great service from the AA I'm definitely planning to give my car a quick check up it's good to make sure everything's running smoothly."
