THE Early Opera Company return to The Anvil in Basingstoke on Wednesday with Handel's delightful Clori, Tirsi e Fileno.
Taking the role of Clori is Claire Booth, Lucy Crow is Tirsi and Hilary Summers is Fileno, with the Early Opera Company baroque orchestra under the direction of Music Director Christian Curnyn.
Embroiled in a passionate love triangle, Clori will not choose between the two young men vying for her affection. As Tirsi and Fileno discover the game she is playing, they renounce the fickle nature of women.
