FOR MOST people decorating involves a lick of paint or a change of wallpaper but for one Southampton family it involved transforming their three-bedroomed semi-detached into a giant World Cup display.

Lee Martin, 28, of Bitterne, thought the best way to support the England team in this year's greatest footballing tournament was by decorating the front of his family home with huge St George flags.

He said: "The front of the house is completely covered in St George's flags. We've put one in each bay window and flags, buntings and banners on the rest of the house.

"It's my parents' home but they don't mind as my dad brought me up on football from a very young age so they encouraged me to decorate it."
