POLICE are appealing for information after a 21-year-old Winchester man sustained serious head injuries in a road collision in the Meon Valley.
A 19-year-old driver has been arrested and released on bail.
At around 5.10am on Friday, June 2, a blue J-reg Vauxhall Cavalier was travelling from Warnford to Clanfield along Old Winchester Hill Lane.
When the car reached the Teglease Down crossroads, it left the road and smashed into a tree.
Sgt Colin Hall from Cosham Roads Policing Unit said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw this vehicle prior to the collision, which happened just after 5am.
