LADIES will love the Dalian Players summer show a three-act comedy where women rule the world when disaster destroys the male race.
No Time for Fig Leaves tells of an atomic accident where all but two men are killed.
The cunning pair hide in a space capsule for protection, but the females soon find them and keep the future fathers of the human race under lock and key.
But the thought of a whole world of single women encourages the men to try and escape the clutches of their captors.
Nigel Franks and Phillip Jordan star as the stranded males dodging droves of empowered women for their freedom, but the tight-lipped cast will not spill the beans on whether or not they make it.
Set in the present day, playwrights Duncan Greenwood and Robert King give the girls ultimate authority, and create some hilarious comedy characters from the Prime Minister to Admiral of the Fleet.
The cast of ten will perform at Woolston Methodist Hall from June 15 to June 17 at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at £4 are available on 023 8043 8596.
