A LITTER of seven pedigree puppies worth £2,100 has been stolen from a Waterside home.
The Staffordshire bull terriers were stolen from a house in Cosworth Drive, Dibden.
It is thought the eight-week-old pups were taken between 2.30pm and 10.30pm on Thursday.
Police said the owner had left open a rear window for ventilation which was used by the dog thief.
The litter includes four bitches and three dogs.
One dog and one bitch are white and brown in colour and the rest of the litter are a red-golden colour.
PC Alison Tilbury of Hythe police station said: "We are appealing to anyone who may know the whereabouts of this litter and anyone who may have been offered one of the puppies to buy in the last 24 hours."
Anyone with any information can contact PC Tilbury at Hythe police on 0845 045 4545 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
