BEAULIEU Motor-cycle World (MCW) on June 24-25 really is a unique weekend that captures the essence of bikes.
Action, displays, stunts, famous riders the list goes on and on.
Every MCW gets bigger and better and I've enjoyed each one incrementally.
This year the On Two Wheels stand has been relocated to the edge of the track where we'll be able to enjoy all the usual action that MCW has become renowned for (and also brings a tingle to the back of my neck).
Always worth watching is the display by Sammy Miller and his team on some of the great World Championship bikes Stuart Graham, Ralph Bryans, Tommy Robb, Mick Grant and Phil Read to name a few.
Make sure to see the wonderful display of historic Honda road and racing machines, including Mike Hailwood's Honda 4 and ride-ins by the Rudge Owners' Club celebrating their 50th anniversary, and the Vintage Motor Cycle Club marking their 60th year.
Among the highlights of the weekend are appearances by top stunt trials rider Jason Finn, former World Champion Endur-ance Racer Jean-Francois Balde and Maria Costello the fastest woman racer round the Isle of Man TT course.
For the first time the French presidential police will be at MCW and will join a display of current and historic police bikes, ranging from the LE Velocette to the most modern bike.
Want something out of the usual? Try watching the Pocket Rocket a display of Mini Moto Racing.
n Want to win a pair of tickets? Of course you do.
Beaulieu have provided five pairs of tickets for prizes in this simple competition.
What record does Maria Costello hold?
Send your name, address, day time telephone number and of course the answer on a postcard to: MCW Competition, On Two Wheels, Southern Daily Echo, Newspaper House, Test Lane, Redbridge, Southampton, SO16 9JX.
Closing date next Tuesday June 20 when we will publish a 20-page Beaulieu Motorcycle World supplement.
Jason Finn will be displaying his skills.
