ORGANISERS of a Hampshire based international writing festival have had a deluge of entries for the event's 15 competitions.
Winchester Writers' Conference founder director Barbara Large and her staff have been sorting through an avalanche of mail each day as scores of writers send in their creations.
The 26th Winchester Writers' Conference takes place at the University of Winchester from June 23-25, followed by a week of workshops until June 30.
Maureen Lipman, star of stage, big screen and television, will give the keynote speech.
