TOP American band Sparks, acclaimed singer songwriter Richard Thompson, world music stars Osibisa, Mercury Music Award nominee Seth Lakeman and folk rock pioneers Steeleye Span are among the headline artists confirmed for this year's Wickham Festival.
The four-day event, which takes place between August 3 and 6, will feature 60 hours of music from more than 300 top musicians from across the globe performing on two stages, plus a host of other attractions.
It is expected to be the biggest live music festival in Hampshire this year.
Other artists appearing include Tex Mex specialists Los Pacaminos featuring Paul Young, top Scottish band Shooglenifty, Oysterband, Alabama3 unplugged, King Creosote, Blue Horses from Wales, award-winning American duo Chris and Thomas, Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas from Canada, traditional Irish band Flook, Fiddlers Bid from Shetland and the recent South Coast Idol winner Amy Briant.
As well as live music, there will be street entertainment and dance displays in Wickham Square, a weekend craft fair, real ale bars, an international food fair, festival club and fun for the children.
