SAINTS players are used to giving blood on the pitch during their Championship clashes.
Now, they have teamed up with the National Blood Service to give a boost to the vital work done by the blood donating agency.
National Blood Service mascot Billy Blood and Saints mascot Super Saint teamed up at St Mary's Stadium yesterday for a kick around on the famous pitch.
The impromptu match was part of a major drive to encourage more people in Hampshire to give blood.
