A FATHER and daughter are holding their first joint exhibition for almost 20 years at the New Forest Museum gallery.
Woodcarver Joe Wilding, of New Milton, and painter Claire Kitcher, of Sway will be showcasing their work in the summer-long Brush and Wood exhibition.
Claire, a self-taught artist whose main inspiration comes from the wildlife of the Forest, was featured recently on the BBC2 programme A Wild Autumn Day and Meridian TV's The New Forest.
Joe's first carving was of a penguin for his daughter when she was young.
He is now a well-respected wood carver whose work can be found in homes around the country and as far afield as Florida and California. His spectacular carved house signs can be seen all around the Forest.
The Brush and Wood exhibition at New Forest Museum gallery in Lyndhurst runs from Saturday until September 3.
During the first week of the exhibition, when entry is free, the New Forest Pony Publicity group will be sharing the gallery with a photographic display.
