SHE may be Scottish but our World Cup competition winner will be cheering England on all the way throughout the tournament.
Janet Peters was the lucky winner of "A World Cup Night In" run by the Daily Echo in association with John Lewis at West Quay.
The Marchwood grandmother won every football fan's dream package, which includes a Philips 42'' plasma screen TV, a LEC wine and beer fridge, Budweiser beer, crisps and champagne.
Janet, 58, a part-time building society adviser, said: "I am so pleased, it is very exciting because I have never won anything before.
"We are Scottish so it would have been lovely if they had got through, but of course we are supporting England in the World Cup.
"My husband David is a big football fan he watches a lot of it on TV so he can't wait.
"We won't see him for the rest of the World Cup now, which might be a bonus!"
