A COMPETITION is being launched in a bid to encourage more people to do voluntary work in Hampshire.
Hampshire Volunteer Centres want people to come up with an eye-catching, thought-provoking poster slogan that will tempt others to help out in the community.
The person who comes up with the best slogan will receive a cash prize of £100.
Their words will be used in a poster campaign that will be launched during Volunteers’ Week, which starts on June 1.
Community First New Forest, which operates the New Forest Volunteer Centre, is among the organisations asking voluntary and community groups to submit entries.
Entries can be e-mailed to or texted to 07982 810140.
