SPECTACULAR, superb, spoilt for choice, speechless sorry, my Thesaurus is stuck on the letter S. You need a thesaurus to do justice to last weekend's Beaulieu Motorcycle World.
That's because there was so much to enjoy in the way of static displays that all the best adjectives would be used up before getting to the spectacular track and arena displays.
When Jason Finn performed stunt riding on his trials bike the crowds surged to the arena.
Jason danced his bike in circles, hopped it in all directions from a standstill on just the back wheel as well as performing graceful stoppies.
His control and skill has to be seen as Frank Levy found out at close quarters when Jason coerced him into a team suit and used him as an extra obstacle in his routine.
Frank has been show-co-ordinator since MCW began and has been pivotal in making the show what it is now.
This was Frank's last show before retiring and as well as being feted in a Rolls-Royce Jason gave him a bike send off by including him in the act.
Sammy Miller and his GP Demonstration Team showed visitors what the famous classic racers can do round the track and drew massive applause for their efforts.
Seeing the grins when they removed their helmets I don't think it was a particularly onerous task they loved it as much as the crowd.
The show wouldn't be the brilliant success it is without the marshals, course officials and all the people involved behind the scenes including the kind people who supplied me with Beaulieu Apple Juice when I got too parched to talk.
I'll abandon tea next year and stick with juice unless my crew would rather have me silent!
Residents of Hampshire often say how lucky we are to have the New Forest on our doorsteps, and we are.
I'll add that we motorcycle enthusiasts are even luckier to have Motorcycle World on our doorstep but if it was at the other end of the country I'd still go.
