EX-SAINTS star Nicky Banger has coiffured his quiff and perfected the trademark snarl for an event inspired by one little girl who is always on his mind.
The former Southampton player donned an Elvis outfit at St Mary's Stadium to promote his fundraiser, A Night for Sophia.
As a huge fan of the legendary singer, Nicky wants people to shake, rattle and roll the night away at an Elvis-themed charity night.
He is helping to organise the event on Friday, July 14 to raise money for Winchester Special Care Baby Unit and Hampshire Deaf Association (HDA).
The devoted dad got involved after his daughter Sophia was born three months premature, weighing just over two pounds, in November 2004.
She spent three months at Winchester Special Care Baby Unit before going home to Nicky and his wife Stephanie and the experience inspired the couple to organise a fundraising ball.
"We just want to give something back and help people in the future so less parents have to go through the trauma myself and Stephanie did," said Nicky.
New incubator The couple hope to raise enough money for a new £20,000 incubator at the baby unit in Winchester.
The Hampshire Deaf Association will also benefit because although Sophia was lucky, one of the risks for premature babies is hearing loss.
The couple now plan to hold a fundraising ball every year and may raise money for a cerebral palsy charity in the future after Sophia was recently diagnosed with the condition.
A Night for Sophia will be hosted by comedians Denis Bundy and Mike Osman at Southampton Football Club from 7pm-1am.
Highlights will include an Elvis impersonator Alvin, a champagne reception, a three-course dinner and casino tables.
Tickets cost £55 each or £500 for a table of ten.
