A NEW law to protect high grade agricultural land such from new developments topped a poll run by Liberal Democrat candidate for Romsey and Southampton North Sandra Gidley.
Mrs Gidley said if re-elected said she would "guarantee" to introduce a bill to tighten planning laws to protect areas as Whitenap or Halterworth. An alternative bill requiring health authorities to hold binding referendums in areas they wish to fluoridate water came second in the poll of voters.
