CAMERON Mackintosh brings his hit musical My Fair Lady to The Mayflower from Tuesday.

The all star cast includes ex-Emmerdale actress and classical singer Amy Nuttall who shares the rags to riches role of Eliza Doolittle with Lisa O'Hare.

Starring alongside Amy and Lisa as speech expert Professor Higgins is Christopher Cazenove, star of stage and screen who has appeared in numerous TV shows and films including Three Men and a Little Lady and Dynasty.

Comic Gareth Hale, best known for being one half of the comedy duo Hale and Pace, plays Alfred P Doolittle and esteemed British actress Hannah Gordon is Mrs Higgins.

Stephen Moore as Colonel Hugh Pickering joins a talented cast on the UK tour of the award-winning show.

My Fair Lady tells the story of coarse flower girl Eliza who is transformed into a lady by speech professor Higgins who promptly falls in love with her.

The show originally opened at the Lyttelton Theatre in March 2001, where it ran for three months, before it transferred to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in July 2001. The production opened to a record-breaking advance in the history of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and went on to win a total of five Laurence Olivier Awards, including Outstanding Musical Production' and Best Theatre Choreographer', Matthew Bourne. In 2002 it also received The Hilton Award for Outstanding Musical Production.
