THERE were more tears than smiles when hundreds of people gathered to remember a Hampshire air stewardess killed in a road smash.
Former Ringwood School pupil Chloe Garlick, 21, died two weeks ago when her car was in collision with a parked lorry on the A338 Bournemouth spur road as she was driving to work at Bournemouth Airport.
A large photograph of a smiling Chloe, immaculately dressed in her red Palmair uniform, took pride of place inside the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Ringwood.
Mourners included staff from the airport and colleagues from Palmair.
Chloe’s final journey was to Ibsley churchyard, where she was buried. A collection was taken in her memory for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
