ARSONISTS went on a fire-starting spree in a Hampshire village today.
Three vehicles were left damaged, as well as bins, fences and a garden shed following the incidents in North Baddesley, in the early hours of this morning.
Police are now hunting for those behind the fires.
Fire crews from Redbridge and Eastleigh were called to deal with a blaze in Rownhams Road at around 12.30am.
A van that had been set alight was completely gutted.
The fire spread to a Ford Focus parked next to it on a driveway, which was damaged by flames, as well as a fence.
A Peugeot 306 parked nearby had also been separately set alight and was badly damaged.
While firefighters tackled those blazes, using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets, they were called to nearby Fleming Avenue, shortly before 2am.
A bin had been set alight, and the flames had spread to a nearby garden shed and play equipment.
Specialist police and fire service officers spent time at the scenes trying to establish how the fires had begun, and have now launched a full arson investigation.
