A GROUP of friends have raised more than £1,000 for a Hampshire hospice by staging a 13-mile sponsored walk.
The fundraisers took three hours to trek from Dibden Purlieu to Oakhaven Hospice in Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington.
The walk was organised by Jenni Cooper, whose stepfather, Ray Davey, 59, died in Oakhaven earlier this year.
He staged a special musical evening at the Red Lion pub in Commercial Road, Totton, just days before losing his brave battle with cancer.
