A ROMSEY-based women’s fitness centre has helped to feed the homeless in Winchester. Curves owner Debbie Hingley asked her customers to donate food and said she was amazed by the response.
In a bid to encourage customers to bring in goods, Debbie waived the joining fee for all members who donated.
Debbie said: “We set a target of 1,750lb of food and we collected 1,986.5lb.”
The food has been given to the Emmaus Project and Winchester Churches Nightshelter.
