TWO businessmen will endure a seven-day bike ride from Glasgow to Southampton to raise cash for charity.
Steve Jackson, 33, and Spencer Hufton, 40, will pull on their lycra to cycle more than 500 miles for the British Heart Foundation.
The men who work for Siemens Traincare Facility in Northam, Southampton, will face the challenge on June 17 because some of their colleagues at work have suffered from heart conditions.
Steve, pictured on the right, said: “We have had a few colleagues at work who have suffered with their hearts and it really hits home.”
The pair have been training by cycling from Southampton to Weymouth and from Guildford to Chichester but they are not prepared for the leg wobble they face on the journey.
They will stop at various Siemens depots on the way back home.
