THE Lib Dems have been awarded five roles in David Cameron's new Cabinet.

Nick Clegg is made deputy prime minister while Chris Huhne becomes Energy and Climate Change Secretary.

Tory appointments include Ken Clarke as Lord Chancellor and Theresa May has been appointed Home Secretary.

• Kenneth Clarke - Justice Secretary & Lord Chancellor
• Patrick McLoughlin - Chief Whip
• Liam Fox - Defence Secretary
• Danny Alexander - Secretary of State for Scotland
• Andrew Lansley - Health Secretary
• Michael Gove - Education Secretary
Chris Huhne - Energy and Climate Change
• Vince Cable – Business, Innovation and Skills
• David Laws – Chief Secretary to the Treasury
• Philip Hammond - Transport Secretary
• Caroline Spelman - Environment Secretary
• Andrew Mitchell - International Development Secretary
• Cheryl Gillan - Wales Secretary
• Owen Paterson - Northern Ireland Secretary
