YOUNG people coping with physical and learning disabilities will receive a welcome boost this weekend.
The Friends of Westwood and Jigsaw in Bitterne, Southampton will receive a cheque for £9,000 this Saturday at their Spring Fayre.
Both Westwood and Jigsaw work with young people in the city who have complex health needs including physical and learning disabilities, autism and behavioural difficulties.
The money has been raised by Fortis Insurance and Southampton City Council and will be presented at the Spring Fayre at Westwood House on Peartree Road, Bitterne from noon until 3pm.
