HUNDREDS of walkers will descend on the New Forest on Sunday in memory of MacMillan nurse Dee Mason.
Dee, who died of cancer in 2006, started the charity fundraiser and wanted it to continue after her death.
All monies raised will be donated to the Daily Echo backed Southampton Hospital Charity’s Red & White Appeal, which aims to create the transplant treatment centre of choice for patients with leukaemia and other blood disorders from Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, and surrounding counties.
Walkers will gather outside The Lamb Inn in Nomansland at 10.30am on Sunday for the three-mile ramble through the New Forest.
After the walk a fundraising raffle will be held in The Lamb Inn hosted by Dee’s sons Shane and Lee.
