BEAULIEU'S popular MotorMart AutoJumble returns this weekend in the grounds of the world-famous National Motor Museum.
Events Manager Judith Maddox said: “Stand bookings are well advanced for this year’s show with lots of new stand-holders in addition to our regulars and over 30 cars clubs attending. We are also delighted to be welcoming back the Sodbury Sortout which adds an extra dimension to Sunday.”
The 1,000 Autojumble spaces will be selling motoring parts, automobilia, literature and accessories while the MotorMart, on the Beaulieu Arena, will have up to 200 vehicles for sale, ranging from concours classics to restorable relics and the DealerMart, a selection of classic cars for sale.
MotorMarque, which celebrates a significant anniversary in the history of a model that went on to become a legend or started an iconic design trend, is showcasing the Triumph Stag, which this year is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The Stag Owners Club will put on a display to showcase their marque.
Classics Monthly Magazine continues its support of MotorMart returning for 2010 with the hugely popular “Restoration Village” with professional demonstrations of techniques useful for restoring and repairing classics. Visit the team to watch the demonstrations and pick up a copy of the magazine’s latest issue which doubles as the MotorMart showguide.
Sunday highlights include Old Sodbury’s Land Rover Sortout with hundreds of stands selling Land Rover parts and accessories. Also on Sunday, the popular Trunk Traders will feature ‘boot bounty’ from amateur autojumblers selling their surplus car bits from the back of their vehicles. Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy all the Beaulieu attractions, including the National Motor Museum’s latest exhibition ProMotion showcasing a number of vehicles that illustrate the imaginative and fun techniques companies have used to promote their products over the years, plus World of Top Gear, Palace House and Abbey.
There is a special on-the-day, inclusive price of £8.70 for adults and £6.70 for children even less if booked in advance on the ticket hotline: 01590 612888, or online at beaulieu.co.uk/tickets.
