BEATING hundreds of similar supermarkets across the UK they helped raise thousands of pounds to combat a life threatening disease.
Staff from a Southampton Morrisons store have helped raise £11,000 for Cancer Research UK through a number of fundraisers.
The supermarket in Totton was among the top ten stores of 425 across the country to raise funds for the charity.
Employees donned all pink outfits and collection tins were left at the end of every till as the store made its way toward the £11,000 total.
Nationally the charity raised more than £2m for the Cancer Research UK which will go toward vital research into stopping one of the UK’s biggest killers.
