THEY were princesses for the day.
A total of 275 five to seven-year-olds dressed as fairytale royalty to celebrate the centenary of Girl Guiding in the UK.
Giant Connect 4, a treasure hunt, fun fair rides, face painting, belly dancing, crafts, sports and pony and cart rides were just some of the activities on offer at Foxlease Girl Guides in Clayhill near Lyndhurst.
Youngsters attending the event – called Can’t You See I’m a Princess? – were from groups across the south including Lymington, Marchwood and Milford on Sea.
