Detectives have today charged Brian Michael Court, 42, with two counts of indecent assault on boys under 16-years-old.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in the Eastleigh area of Hampshire in the early 1990s.
Mr Court, the former Colonel and head of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Army Cadet Force, was arrested by detectives at his home in Monxton Road, Andover, this morning, Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Thursday, May 20, 2010.
Detectives investigating the allegations against Mr Court, an MOD employee, would like to hear from anyone else who may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
