ROMSEY Comrades Club has new stewards.
Malcolm and Carol Moss took over running the Cressey Road-based club and intend to make it more attractive for young members. Before their appointment, the couple ran West Beckenham Conservative Club in Kent for more than eight years.
Previously, Malcolm and Carol were in charge of a working men’s club in Manchester for four years.
The pair, both 55, have also worked in other bars in the northern city.
Bingo, raffles and discos are held regularly at the premises and tonight the club is staging a Country and Western night with the band Autumn Country. The show begins at 8pm.
