THE Isle of Wight is to get its very own version of property tycoon game Monopoly.
Residents on the Island will get the chance to nominate which local landmarks and institutions are used to replace the celebrated London streets over the next four weeks as designers look to customise the board game.
The Isle of Wight was chosen as the latest location for the game after Eileen Eaton, a teacher at Oakfied Church of England Primary School in Ryde, approached makers Winning Moves with the idea nine months ago.
The game is set for release later this year.
