THERE is no doubting The Bittern’s support for the World Cup.
The patriotic Southampton pub is covered in St George’s flags in preparation for the national side’s bid for cup glory.
The Thornhill Park Road local has had the flags flying since St George’s Day last month and have simply added to the display in time for the competition.
Landlady Jane Cozens, 53, said: “We have got a great crowd that come in here of all different nationalities.
“I think it is really important to show your support for the national side.”
The Southampton boozer is planning a host of special promotions and deals to get the fans through the doors for the matches.
