MOTORISTS are facing long of delays after a multi-vehicle collision on the M27 motorway in Hampshire.

Police are currently at the scene near junction of the motorway for Eastleigh after at least two cars collided on the eastbound stretch of the carriageway just after 4pm.

Ambulance crews and firefighters were also called the incident.

A police spokesman said it was unclear how the accident happened but that no one was seriously injured.

The incident happened at around 4.10pm and delays are expected until at least 5.30pm while lanes are closed for the recovery of the vehicles.
