FIREFIGHTERS have released a cow after it got its head stuck in a gate.
Fourteen firefighters, including a specialist animal welfare officer and a senior officer, spent more than 30 minutes freeing the stricken animal.
The cow had got its head wedged in a gate on Park Lane in Swanmore.
Fire crews from Droxford and Havant were sent to free the animal after being called at 5.30am today.
