A WARRANT has been issued for a fire raiser who failed to turn up for sentence.
Jacqueline Frier, 43, had been convicted at Southampton Crown Court last month of starting a blaze that caused about £50,000 damage to her council home in Rossington Avenue.
Jurors heard how a neighbour saw her front door well alight, with Frier standing in the back garden shouting the name of her dog, Parker, and shouting for someone to call the fire service. Judge Peters Ralls QC adjourned sentence for a psychiatric report.
At sentencing the judge said he had received a sicknote saying Frier was suffering from PTSD and was unable to work for seven weeks.
But her counsel Amanda Hamilton said she had been told by her partner Frier had injured a shoulder after a fall at home ten days ago.
