A packed Lepe Beach on the hottest day this year
BEACHES across Hampshire have been praised for being some of the cleanest for bathing across the UK it was revealed today.
Visitors flocking to Barton on Sea, Calshot, Lepe, Milford on Sea, and Lee-on-the-Solent will get some of the best beach conditions in the country after each location received the highest rating in the Marine Conservation Society’s Good Beach Guide.
The five were all classified as ‘recommended’ in the guide. The MCS says water quality has improved across the south east, possibly due to less rainfall last summer.
