A HUNT for a sex attacker is under way after a woman was dragged to the ground and assaulted in the early hours of this morning.
A 26-year-old woman was pounced on from behind as she walked through Southampton with friends after a night out.
The group of women were walking along Inner Avenue, at 3am, when the attacker struck, pulling her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
Her friends were able to fight the man off, forcing him to flee southbound, towards the city centre.
He is described as being of Oriental or Thai appearance, of a chubby or muscular build, 6ft tall and had black, straight hair, which was spiky.
