A PAIR of disabled identical twins have taken to the water to raise hundreds of pounds for Hampshire disability charity Enham.
Catherine and Sarah Griffiths swam a total of 60 lengths in a sponsored swim to raise £430 for the charity’s newly refurbished Charity Shop Café.
Catherine and Sarah, 38, whose family live in Alresford, both have a hearing disability and have been residents of Enham’s Western Court bungalows at Enham Alamein, near Andover, since 1996.
When they heard about plans to convert a tea room into a café, they decided to help raise money for the project.
Now a Social Enterprise Café, it offers direct employment opportunities and employment training for local people on Enham’s Workstep Programme, while also helping to create revenue to fund the development of Enham’s services.
